Yantaló
is a rural town in the Alto Mayo region of Peru, in the upper Amazon Jungle. “Yantaló” is a Quechua word meaning “wood carrier”.
The Yantalo Peru Foundation is devoted to delivering outstanding quality programs in the areas of health, education and culture to help meet the needs of the people of Yantalo in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. Our goal is to create a long-term and sustainable positive impact through serious and active participation of the community and volunteers who share our vision and commitment to work with integrity, creativity and accountability.
